I BECAME A THERAPIST TO FIGURE OUT WHY I ATE SO MUCH.

Some of the “reasons” I uncovered were so depressing that my only recourse was to eat over them. There were elaborate and convoluted explanations and justifications, along with blamings, excuses, and avoidances.  All I learned helped me straight to the refrigerator where I stood at the open door bingeing while explaining.  Why was I doing it? Who cared?  Who was I telling? Who needed to hear about it?  Me? Myself?

In the mid-1970’s I found some solutions that have now helped me to maintain an 80-lb weight loss and develop a sane and sensual relationship with food. This long and exciting journey has also offered me the opportunity to pioneer treatment programs for overeaters and other addicts and benefit their families as well.

During that active career training other therapists and supervising counseling staffs I have also developed books, workbooks, audio and visual materials, and a vast network of recovering individuals.  You can view here clips of television and radio shows where I explained many pioneering philosophies in addiction treatment.  Lectures and podcasts and vlogs are also included.
